QUESTIONS ABOUT THESE TERMS
1. Agreement to these terms
By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms apply to general website use. Any signed proposal, statement of work, or service agreement will take priority for a specific consulting engagement.
2. About Consult Pro
Consult Pro provides business consulting and related professional services. Information on this website is provided to introduce our capabilities and approach. It is general information and should not be treated as legal, financial, tax, investment, or other regulated professional advice.
3. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful business purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the website, gain unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, scrape content at scale, impersonate another person, or use our materials in a misleading or unlawful way.
4. Enquiries and proposals
Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship or require either party to proceed. An engagement begins only when both parties agree to written terms. Proposals may include scope, deliverables, timing, fees, assumptions, and any conditions specific to the work.
5. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely access to relevant people and materials, and decisions needed for the work to progress. You are responsible for reviewing deliverables and telling us promptly if something appears incomplete or incorrect.
6. Fees, invoicing, and taxes
Fees and payment schedules are set out in the applicable proposal or agreement. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are payable by the due date shown and fees exclude applicable taxes. Late or unpaid invoices may result in paused work, adjusted timelines, or recovery of reasonable collection costs where permitted by law.
7. Timelines, changes, and delays
Project dates depend on timely feedback, approvals, and access. If the scope changes, we may adjust the timeline and fees through a written change. We are not responsible for delays caused by missing client inputs, third-party services, events outside reasonable control, or agreed changes to the work.
8. Cancellation and termination
Either party may end an engagement as allowed by the applicable proposal or agreement. The client remains responsible for fees and approved costs for work completed up to the termination date. Any provisions intended to survive termination—including payment, confidentiality, intellectual property, and liability terms—will continue to apply.
9. Intellectual property
Consult Pro retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, tools, frameworks, templates, and general know-how. Ownership or licence rights for project deliverables will be described in the applicable agreement and may depend on full payment. Website content, branding, and design may not be copied or reused without written permission.
10. Confidentiality
Each party should protect confidential information received during an engagement and use it only for the agreed work. Confidentiality does not apply to information that is already public, independently developed, lawfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law.
11. Third-party tools and links
Our website and services may rely on third-party platforms, software, data, or links. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy, or content, although we aim to select providers with reasonable care.
12. Disclaimers
We aim to provide thoughtful, high-quality work, but business outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that they will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consult Pro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from website use or an engagement. Any specific liability cap, exclusions, and remedies for consulting services will be stated in the applicable written agreement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Governing terms and disputes
The governing law and dispute process for a consulting engagement will be set out in the applicable written agreement. Before starting formal proceedings, both parties should make a good-faith effort to resolve concerns through direct discussion.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these website terms as our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised date. Questions can be sent to hello@consultpro.com, by fax to +1 (212) 555-0148, or to Consult Pro in New York, United States.
